their counterparts in Latin America and Asia who often but not always(depending on economic status) have low protein and dairy diets?

Your height is greatly influenced by genetics and I see a lot more short Hispanics and Asians than “incredibly” tall ones.
That said, one of the tallest peoples are the Dutch. Average men’s height is 6 feet 1. A high protein diet, mostly from milk and dairy products, is generally credited with the increase in their height over the last 150 years. And, probably just as important, they have one of the best health care systems in the world. Cradle to grave….government run, of course.

i’m a bit confused. is this from a study or something or are you just noticing that Asian and Hispanic Americans are taller than their counterparts without knowing about their diets?
but as someone said, height is very dependent on genetics
Animal products don’t help grow taller, if anything, I would think they hinder growing as tall as your genetics would allow since the calcium from cow’s milk is not easily absorbed and meat requires a lot from your body to digest it.
Its nutrition in general and not just protein that makes people larger. homes built in old europe were made for short people and they were not asian and hispanics.
check your facts kid.
I’m aware of genetics, and the other answers mentioning genetics are not incorrect. I will skip explaining what has already been explained and you probably understood anyways. There is more to the answer to your question than this.
Animals are given synthetic growth hormones so they will grow faster or produce more milk. These synthetic hormones end up in the dairy and meat products, of course. Rbst and Rgbh, produced from genetically engineered bacteria and given to cattle, is one example of this. It’s produced by Monsanto, the same corporation that made agent orange in the Vietnam War.
People aren’t just growing taller than their grandparents as a result of hormones in animal products. These synthetic growth hormones are also causing people to hit puberty at an earlier age. Girls are now beginning puberty at age 9 because of hormones in meat and dairy products.
Men are also starting to grow “man boobs” now as well. This is a result of various hormones in animal products as well as other chemicals such as BPA. Two generations ago, obese men did not have “man boobs”.
As for protein, that doesn’t really have anything to do with it. There is no evidence that increased protein beyond the minimum requirements will cause a person to grow taller.
