Question by Jephunneh (pronounced: Ja-funny): What is your experience with fat burners?
I usually supplement my workout with “Anadrox Pump & Burn.” This Nitric Oxide vasothermic fat burning supplement,is suppose to stimulate new muscle growth while burn fat. I do seem to have more energy in the gym so I can do more when I take these supplimenst. Has any one else tried Anadrox? Is there something better?

These do work for some people but not for me. I prefer making my own power drink. I just make a smoothie of a banana, whey and ice cubes in a blender. Most of my power comes from just eating right–lot of lean protein and green vegetables.

most fat burners (IE, Hydroxcut, Lipo-6, Trim-Spa) have lots of caffeine because it gives you energy AND works to loosen up fat for use as energy when taken pre-workout. However you want to attack fat from different avenues. Try L-Carnitine 1,000mg 3X day to get the mitochondria in the cells burning up the calories, Green Tea liquid capsules available at Walmart, Coles Forskolin standardidzed for 25-50mg of forskolin taken 3X a day, pay attention to the % of the ingredient and how it is concentrated though. For example 200mg standardized at 10% ends you up with 20mg; 100mg standardized at 30% and you end up with 30mg so that’s better even though you started with 100 instead of 200.
Combine these with 5-6 small meals instead of 3 large meals, and no dirty carbs after 7pm and you’ll be set.
I used http://www.imedmart.com/Nx-Labs/Stacker-2-Ephedra-Free/120-caplets.html and it works great. I have lost quite a few pounds now thanks to the help of it.
