Question by infexia.: What health risks are involved if you take diet pills as a teenager?
i am feeling absolutely terrible about my weight. my parents have these weight loss supllements and diet pills in the house; i want to start taking them, but i don’t know if there are any serious risks involved that can take effect quickly.

so my question is:
if i take, say, 1 in the morning and one before exercising in the evening, how will it affect my health? will it affect it over a short period of time?

diet pills are bad for anyone at any age. they can have serious side effects. just exercise and eat about 1,500 calories a day.

Diet pills are not a good idea. How do you think they work?? Anything that makes you lose weight from a pill dissolving/bursting in your stomach has got to be unnatural.

If you are really unhappy about your weight, just keep working out. You’ll lose that weight eventually and in the natural way. Also, go on a diet; don’t take diet pills. Believe me, NO ONE recommends those pills!

Don’t do pills. The only way to fix this is exercise.

+You should take karat lessons.
+ Eat a full breakfast
+ Eat a health snack every 2 hours

This will take time.

You are too young to take diet pills. Besides, it isn’t recommended yet to young people such as yourself. Why don’t you try taking the time on reading fat loss for idiots review and other dieting sources to help you lose weight safely. Also, go and get some exercise daily to help you build up muscles in order to burn the fat.

I had weight problems when I was a teenager and the solution I used was starving myself to lose weight. It worked of course but had major side effects in the long run. I eventually gain all the weight back and some. Also my body is a little distorted because since I chose to starve myself at young age I actually stunted my growth. I completely regret the decision I made. I believe taking diet pills at a young age will cause similar problems or worse.

You’re still young, and growing so you’re metabolism is still high. My suggestion would be making better food choices and just being more active. The slight change towards a healthier lifestyle will slim you down.
