Question by sabresfan58: What effect will ephedrine have if you are taking NO X-plode?
I currently take the fat burner HYPERDRINE, which contains 10 mg of ephedrine per pill. I take the recommended dose of two pills a day for a total of 20 mg ‘s of ephedrine, I want to start taking NO X-plode but it says on the label the effects will be dimisnished by ephedrine. I am wondering if the ephedrine will not diminish it as much since its a low dosage of ephedrine, and if the energizing effects of NO X-plode go away will I still get the muscle volumizing “pump” and gains effect?

First off, all of those things are seriously bad for you and to top it off they don’t work. I’ve done my fair share of all that stuff. Anyway, mixing them is an even worse idea, it can lead to heart attack or seizure especially if you use them while exercising or drining coffee. They can cause heart attacks and seizures all by themselves though. Last time I heard ephedrine was banned for that very reason. Truckers use (or used to) ephedrine to stay awake on the road. I’m sure that’s not the answer you wanted, but I want to be honest. Good luck with whatever you’re trying to do and be safe.

The two products will counter each other. Nitric Oxide supplements require significant increases in your water intake to be fully effective, while ephedrine/ephedra usually dehydrates the body quickly. You’d be putting too much unneeded pressure on your body to find an equilibrium point, so I wouldn’t recommend mixing them at all.

Also note that if you have a high-sodium diet, you won’t see the effects of the nitric oxide – your biochemistry simply won’t allow it.

I’d recommend discontinuing the Hyperdrine, then taking NO with a 10 gram daily glutamine supplement. Drink about 3 quarts of water a day while eating slightly calorie reduced diet (eliminate your starchy carbs and refined sugars). With the right program* you should see an impressive increase in strength and fuller muscles in about 45 days.

* Intense exercise with heavy weights for 30-40 minutes 3x a week while giving yourself ample days to rest. And sleeping 8 hours a night, no excuses.
