Well it’s not a food, but one of the biggest problems:

Soda.

Stay away from it.

Also don’t consume a lot of starch. Breads, pastas, and corn. Unless the bread and pasta are wheat.

That’s just besides the obvious candy and junk food.

Not really a list but foods that are starchy, like bread and pasta. Meat is good and Fruits and Veggies are good for maintain weight, it also helps to for weight loss to eat before 7pm and a good work out always helps.

Try to keep away from sugar, this is one of the main ingredients which will help you loose weight if you steer clear of it.
It will be hard but i had to and what i did i started eating fruit instead and had the odd small treat, because the worst thing you can do is cut it out completely as you will crave it.

Here’s some suggestions for things to avoid:

Soda (especially the non-diet versions)
Iced tea (contains sugar)
Hamburger/Cheeseburger
Cheese (in excess)
Cakes
Chocolate
Ice cream
Pastries
Chips and fries
Deep-fried foods (e.g. KFC, fish and chips)
Chinese food (high sugar content)
White bread/white rice/white pasta

Basically anything that’s high in simple sugars or saturated fat. This should apply whether you’re dieting or not. Also check the salt content carefully – and beware that many manufacturers list the sodium content rather than salt. To get the true salt count, multiply this by 2.5 – so 0.6grams of sodium is actually 1.5grams. Your daily limit is 5grams.

Try drinking water in place of soda.

Go for:
Fruit
Vegetables
Lean protein
Complex carbs (wholewheat bread, rice, pasta)
etc..

Good luck.

Junk food, carbs like bread, potatoes consume them in moderate amounts
Drink lots of water. Eat more veggies and fruits. As far as possible do not consume too much carbs in the night as all the unused energy will be stored in your body while you sleep.

Don’t starve yourself and get plenty of grains in the morning. You need your energy.
