go see another derm if this guy keeps giving you medicine that doesn’t help. i’m having the same problem with the scarring and trust me, here some of these assholes will give you some bs home remedy. my scarring is on my cheeks and it isn’t terrible but it does get me down at times cause it is noticeable. but i’m going to see a derm about it and get some kind of help cause meds are not helping at this point. my advice would be to go see another derm. one thing i used was retin-a it really did a good job. if you haven’t used it ask for it, it helped for my acne and blemishes when i had acne. as far as the scarring that’s another problem and from what i heard expensive to fix. so good luck

I struggled with acne for a long time and I think that there are a few things that you can do to help. The scarring you have to put aside for now and handle awhile after you have gotten new blemishes under control. This is because most methods of scar removal would likely irritate your skin, which is likely to cause more problems.

Look at your routine…Wash your face only once a day, preferably with something that is mild and unscented. Don’t shave then wash your face as it will make your face very dry. Also be very careful when you shave and don’t pick your pimples. Really the less you do the better. Your routine is the biggest thing you can change on your own. Oily skin caused by your age is not really under your control and over-washing just causes irritation. Antibiotics or accutane can help but I would not take accutane again if you’ve already taken it, due to the potential side-effects.

Your attitude has a lot to do with it. You have to move on for your acne to move on. Sort of like that annoying attention seeker, the more you think about, touch, etc, the longer they’ll stick around. Know that someday your skin will be clear and that day will arrive sooner.

I’ve tried a lot of medications before but haven’t really help. As a last resort i choose natural remedies. I found that it has the real power of curing my acne. I’ve tried it and it really works for me, in less than one week you can already notice a lot improvement. I hope it helps you too.

Step 1

One of the most popular home remedies is to put toothpaste on your pimple before you go to bed .Make sure it is the paste and not the gel.

Step 2

Place strawberry leaves on the acne ,the alkalinity helps reduce the swelling.

Step 3

These are one of the smellier home remedies for getting rid of a pimple overnight.Crush a couple of garlic cloves and dabbed on the face 1-2 times daily.

Step 4

Grind orange peel with some water to a paste and apply on the pimple.Your pimple should disappear overnight or become less visible.

Step 5

Mix 1 teaspoon of finely ground cinnamon powder and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and apply to your pimples frequently this should also do the trick.

Step 6

Put ice on the pimple before going to bed ,by morning it should be noticeably smaller. This works best on larger pimples that have not yet formed a head.

Step 7

Mix mint juice with turmeric powder and apply on affected area.Leave for about 15 minutes and wash off with lukewarm water.

Step 8

Combine together in a bowl some vinegar and salt in a bowl, dab this mixture on your pimples ,leave for about 15-20 minutes and the rinse off.

Step 9

Grind some nutmeg with milk and apply to affected area, this will make your pimples vanish without leaving any marks.Poof and it is gone.

Step 10

Apply juice of raw papaya including the skin and seed on swelling acne to get rid of overnight.

Step 11

Apply the pulp from ripe tomatoes on your blemish and leave for a hour, then wash and get rid of your pimple overnight.

Step 12

i did have the same problem and it helped a lot. hope it helps U too!!!

Tea Tree Oil
Tea Tree Oil is obtained from the Melaleuca alternifoliais tree from Australia. It is very effective against Acne as it contains bacteria-fighting substances called Terpenes. Acne is often caused by bacteria and the Terpenes either outright kill them or weaken them enough to be destroyed by protective antibodies. There are very little side effects from using Tea Tree Oil.

Aloe Vera
The watery gel from Aloe Vera plant is also a highly effective natural cure against Acne. The enzyme-rich gel has very soothing anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties. It can also be taken internally and helps clean up and detox the digestive tract. This in turn can help clear up the skin.

Zinc
Zinc is taken in the form of capsules. It helps to strengthen the human immune system and to repair the skin.

Vitamin A
Vitamin A tablets are also a natural and effective Acne cure. Vitamin A promotes healthy skin.

Vitamin E
Vitamin E also helps in countering Acne. It is a natural antioxidant and beneficial for the skin. Vitamin E comes in soft gelatin capsules that contain Vitamin E, Soybean Oil, Glycerin, and Water.

Some Natural Homemade Cures to counter Acne
The most important thing to do if you suffer from Acne is to drink at least four pints of water every day. Drinking a lot of water is very beneficial to your skin. Including fresh fruit and leafy green vegetables in your daily diet will also bring about a marked improvement in the quality of your complexion.

Before bathing, apply a mixture of tomato pulp – real tomota pulp, not packaged one – honey and rose-water to your face and keep for twenty minutes before washing off.

At night, before going to bed, apply a mix of cream, glycerine, and lemon juice to your face and again keep it on for a short while before washing.

Regular Yoga exercises will also improve skin and overall health.

Things to Avoid
Avoid touching your face all the time, keep your hair away from your face, and avoid picking at pimples.

Another important thing if you’re prone to Acne is to avoid using heavy make-up – in fact, it is preferable to avoid make-up altogether. For an effective cure, stay as natural as possible.
