I don’t know that tyelnol PMS would do anything but if i were you, try Valerian Root. It’s a natural herb and it does work…. just follow the recommended dosage and don’t take more than that. You can try different things but be careful, medication can be soooo addictive. I got addicted to the good sleeps and was stuck on sleeping pills for soooo long. Try to drink a warm glass of milk. The tryptophan (sp?) from the heated milk makes you sleepy. Same that is in turkey. If you just get into a good bedtime routine, take a nice hot bath, light some candles, practice deep breathing and drink your glass of milk, you can get back to your sleep cycle.

Insomnia (sleeplessness) is due to stress,
dietary and medical problems. By making
small lifestyle changes like having a fixed
daily routine, relaxing and eating properly,
insomnia can be cured. I found the information

Basic Benadryl completely knocks me out and you can get it at pretty much any drug store.

Talk to your doctor. They have many new medications.

What you are taking is an antihistamine mixed with a common painkiller, which have the additional side effect of drowsiness. There are two types of these antihistamines. Doxylamine and Diphenhydramine which is what is in the Tylenol PM and Benedryl. Unisom along with a grocery generic equivalent contain the Doxylamine.

You can also try this site: http://www.sleepnet.com/

They have message boards as well as many other helpful resources as well as comfort for your fears and drug free solutions.

There are several over the counter sleeping medications available, any one of these would fulfill your needs. You should check with your doctor before starting however.

Don`t know about sleeping pills, you dont seem to have a problem falling asleep during the day so perhaps you could deal with that first. and maybe the sleep at night will come

If you have a GNC or Vitiamin store around the people in there are very helpful and can steer you to something ment just for you.

a lot of doctors are now giving antihistamines to help people with sleep problems. you can buy these over the counter at most pharmacy’s (drug stores what ever you call them) they are used for things like hay-fever but cause drowsiness hence them being used to help people sleep. take care good luck

Don’t drug yourself unnecessarily. Get some Chamomilla from a Homoeopath and take that just before bedtime. Also, take some camomile tea…both work like a charm.

You have a problem alright, and taking pills in not what you need. The body only requires so much sleep….you are doing it in the daytime, so you aren’t sleepy at night. Guess why?

You can change this pattern by just making yourself skip the naps in the daytime, and get busy doing something you enjoy….and when you go to bed at night…put on some relaxing music, drink some warm milk, etc….but stay away from the pills!

If you sleep all day, do you just plan to sleep your life away?

Wise up and get a life!

Instead of looking for another sleeping pill, why don’t you work on the real problem which is trying to sleeping at night instead of during the day. Try keeping yourself busy during the daytime and avoid taking naps. When it’s time to sleep read for a while before turning off the lights or try taking a relaxing bath before bedtime. Avoid caffeine before bedtime. Good luck.
