Foods high in magnesium. ALL epileptics in clinical trials were found to be deficient in magnesium. Magnesium deficiency alone can cause seizures. Diets should never go below 1200 calories a day for women and 1800 calories a day for men. To go lower will adversely affect your health. Eat regularly to speed up the metabolism to help with weight loss. Eating regularly to keep up your blood sugar is important for seizure control.
