Question by Loving being Aydan’s Mommy: What acne treatments can you use while pregnant?
I am currently on Retina-Micro and using neutrogena face wash with 2 % Sal. Acid. I sometimes use mask, and peels ( not strong) like from Wal-mart. I’ve searched a few sites. I was just curious what you mothers use for acne. I’ve had acne since I was 12 so it’s nothing new to me. Thanks for you suggestions ! =)

I’ve read that salicylic acid is not allowed while you’re pregnant. find something with benzoyl peroxide as it’s active ingredient.

What do you think? Answer below!

Definitely check with your doctor. However, something that I know for sure is safe is IVORY soap (the old-fashioned white bar). I had horrible acne and it worked great believe it or not! You should really try it for yourself. I also supplement the IVORY soap washings (I usually use it at night) with St.Ives Apricot Scrub with Salicylic Acid (Spelled that wrong i think). It exfoliates and has acne medication in it..and it smells great too!
