Question by gossip girl: Weightloss?
I’m 15 years old.. and I’m so depress of my body. because my waistline is 36 my hips gosh 39 I’m about 170lbs.im so scared to not lose my weight now. Bec. here in the Philippines it is really not good if your fat. I always hear some feedbacks that “ Hey.. she’s beautiful BUT it’s a No because shes fat” it hurts a lot!! They always tease me as a pig.. Krispy Kreme.. Oh gosh.. i just can’t help it.. whenever there’s an event (JS PROM) i lost weight (2inches in a month) but after a month or maybe a week my body goes back too! Now that it is summer im trying my very best to lose my weight.. now, I m doing Pilates and in the evening im not eating rice instead OATMEAL! hey! is that good?? And how much oatmeal should I take?? I eat a bowl every breakfast and supper.. but when the lunch comes I eat rice but I lessen it.. about a half as in half a cup.. whoa i really need help guys! please help me.. im really losing my self esteem =( please give me advice guys..

check with a dietician or a doc and see whther you have any hormonal problem. here is an easy to follow diet – start your meal with a soup or a huge salad. this fills u up. Make sure your plate has this ratio – 50% veg, 25% carb, 25% protein.this will prevent cravings too.an occassional treat is OK. have a snack every three hours. fruit (ideally berries) or soy nuts. just 2 tbsp of soya subsides hunger pangs. switch from white rice and bread to brown. eat 900gms of veggies a day.Lose a kilo a week. that is permanent loss. pick an exercise regime you like.
get a pedometer and take 10,000 steps everyday.

hi i m concered about you and u r real having extra ponds according to ur age. its good tht u stop eating rice in dinner try also to avoid them in lunch. go for regular exercise and eat food rich in vitamins not in fats
First of all, you need a variety of foods not just rice and oatmeal. Try oatmeal for breakfast. If you add milk to it, try a fat free milk. For lunch try salad with some sort of protein such as chicken or t turkey with a low fat dressing. For dinner try some steamed veggies without the rice, and some chicken or fish. Pasta is okay too in moderations. Eliminate breads though. Drink lots of water…..skip soda even if it’s diet soda. And exercise 1 hour per day for 6 days per week. You’ll lose weight, and keep it off, if you continue doing this always.
I struggled with me weight as a teenager, I got made fun of, called names the whole nine yards. Then when I was 16 I dropped about 40 lbs. I lost it by being VERY active and not snacking at all. I ate only when I was hungry. I tried to stay away from carbs, I did, however eat cereal in the morning. I also found that fiber is a staple if you want a flat stomach. I actually wenmt on to model for a few years after I dropped the weight. Look DON”T starve yourself it won’t work. Watch your calories and get a lot of fiber, and stay active…also you might want to re think the pilates, until you drop some pounds muscle will build under your fat and you will appear more bulking than slim.
