It is kind of a sedative, it makes you drowsy, you feel like you’re drunk and the only time I’ve taken it I felt like I was blabbering.
They are not good for your health, at all

Perhaps it is. I suggest you to regularly watch yoga prgrammes by Swami Ramdev on Astha channel on your TV. You will understand a lot many things for improvement of your health. Remember “health is the real welth”.

I would need to know what you’re actually taking. There are generally 3 types of sleep aid medications. There are sedatives-hypnotics that depress the CNS causing hypnosis and sedation. There are also hypnotics and sedatives done separate.

If your sleep aid is prescribed to you it should say on the information given to you by the pharmacy which it is. If it is not prescribed try something else before going to sleeping pills. They may help you get to sleep/stay asleep but you get a lower quality sleep and can feel exhausted in the morning. Your body can also become dependent on
them making it more difficult to get to sleep without the pills.

Here are some things to try.
do not exercise within 30 minutes of going to bed
stay away from the tv, computer, and food immediately before bed
use your bed only for sleep and sex
do not stay in bed longer than 30 minutes, longer than this and you’ll
just be thinking about how you can’t get to sleep.
Take a shower before bed. You’ll feel clean, refreshed and most
importantly you’ll be more relaxed.
If you fell tired before you usually go to bed, then go to bed…your body is ready to sleep.
You can also try reducing the noise and adjusting the temperature in your home to a more comfortable level. Comfort is very important in sleep. The more comfortable you are the better quality sleep you can get. It also helps to be young.
I hope this helps.
