Question by Tamara M: Side affects of using sleeping pills over a long period of time?
I’ve been taking Tylenol Sleep Aid sleeping pills for a while and I take one per night because I can’t sleep through the night. Now, I don’t want to discuss what my problem is, rather I would want to know what are the side affects of using Tylenol Sleep Aid for a long extended period of time. We’re talking about 6 months to year.
Anyone have any ideas?

I used to take Nyquil, but that doesn’t work for me anymore. Now I take 2 Tylenol PM’s almost every night too. It’s just after awhile, you become dependant on it.

I took tylenol p.m.’s for about 4years with no problem,used them during the week but not on weekends, no side effects.
I now have to take sleeping pills for I have chronic pain and have not had a problem with them either.
