yep. But you have to differentiate between dependent and addicted. Addiction usually entails in increase in usage, a dependency means you need it to sleep but aren’t necessarily abusing it. I’ve had back surgery, at certain times during the year, I am dependent on Oxycodone, but when the pain stops, I stop taking the Oxys. So I’m dependent, but not addicted.

I did one time then when I was in church
I ask the Lord to help me and The Lord
Did Help Me now I don’t have to take any
Sleep aid Praise The Lord!
