Question by Varcan: Is it safe to take additional sleeping pills when the one’s you took aren’t doing the job?
I’m really tired of insomnia (no pun intended). I took two sleeping pills about 3 hours ago and they haven’t worked. Is it safe to take more? I definitely am not interested in an overdose.

I wouldn’t do it. I’d suggest you see a sleep professional/doctor instead of asking people online. And also look for alternative methods (serene music, cognitive therapy, warm baths, exercising several hours earlier in the day, etc.)

Depends on the sleeping pill. For the most part sleeping pills can be dangerous if you take too many. They will put you to sleep permanently by stopping your breathing. You are probably safe taking twice the prescribed amount.
