Question by EL: Is it okay to take hydroxycut on cardio days and take protein shakes on days that i do weights? or take both?
I want to build lean muscle mass but at the same time burn the fat so on cardio days i want to take hydroxycut to help burn fat then on the days i do weights, i take protein shakes to help repair the muscles. is this right? or would it be better take hydroxycut before workout and protein shake after everyday?

Ok so there is an actual FDA warning on Hydroxycut stating that it can lead to kidney failure. I honestly do not think its worth taking. It sounds to me like you have your things figured out by doing both cardio and weight training. Lose weight by doing cardio and with lifting weights your muscle will cause a higher metabolism to take affect. I would take the protein shakes everyday. Good Luck!

Hydroxycut is being recalled because someone died of severe liver damage and several several other people have excessive damage to thier liver. Dont tak it. I took it for a few weeks, and my heart started doing something funky.
It’s NOT ok to take hydroxycut period. It can cause liver damage and they’re actually being recalled.
