Question by Thomas C: How would HGH help with healing a players injuries?
The reason I’m asking is because from what Pettitte said is that he used it for an elbow injury in 2002 and I would like to know exactly how that would help him. Does it speed up the process? Please no negative comments or back and forth Yankee fan and red sox fan bantering, just the answer to clear things up.

Research has shown that GH treatment can provide a number of measurable benefits to severely GH-deficient adults, such as enhanced energy and strength, and improved bone density. Muscle mass may increase at the expense of adipose tissue. Blood lipid levels improve, but long term mortality benefit has not yet been demonstrated.
