Question by Ello: How does fish oil pills help you with dieting?
Someone told me when I started my diet to go buy some fish oil pills. I know they help control heart disease and lows your risk of cancer but how does it help when your dieting because I don’t understand.
She said they boost your metabolism from the omega 3 fatty acids that are found in the oil. But I don’t know if it’s true.

I know of no weight loss effects of fish oil, although you can do some research and see what you find…they are healthy (I take them) but I can’t imagine any effect they’d have on fat burning…

It aids several processes in the body, that are involved with metabolism. Some nutritionists actually recommend seed oils such as flax seed oil, rather than fish oil.
