Question by Bright Eyes: How come when I take sleep aids, I get so anxious?
I get super tired, but also very anxious, and sometimes I find it hard to sleep, even though I am so tired.
Also, when I am in bed and under the influence of sleep aids, I ALWAYS have to sleep in the fetal position or else my legs will tingle and feel weird. (I take prescription Seroquel.)
What’s an explaination for this?
PS- They aren’t prescribed to me.

Seroquel is an anit-physcotic drug. don’t take that, it will mess with you… Ask for ativan or a sleeping pill
If you really want medication

My suggestion is switch pills. Seroquel could be mixing with a chemical in your body and starting to clash. I took ambien sleep aid and was litterly addicted until i became pregnant. Later, I winged myself off to tylenol pm. My doctor says there is such a thing as a insomniac, and there are pills for it to help you relax.
I have these symptoms when I take any mind chemically altering drugs. It’s like a heroin addiction as far as the tingling goes. Ask your doctor or an on call nurse. They can point you in the right direction.
you may be allergic to something in these pills, don’t take them
first of all, if they aren’t prescribed for you, you shouldn’t take them! that is probably why you are expiriencing strange symptoms..you have no idea what the proper dose is for you, a doctor will. i hate to sound preachy, but i have done what you did before, and it only gets you in trouble. please go see a doctor or a free clinic and get the right medication that is just for you.
stop taking them now….. there is a natural help mate, malatone, i believe is how you spell it…… or something like that…. you can by it at the drug or dollar store.. it is all I can take when I feel the need…. but even it does not help much, I have a backwards clock, hence the hour of time on here…… but try it , it does help and works great on some ppl….. and it is all natural….. God bless
If they aren’t prescribed to you, you shouldn’t be taking them. Go to a doc and let him determine if you need sleeping aids in the first place.
Many a time, people believe they need sleeping aids, but just regularizing their habbits works better.
You tend to get addicted to sleeping aids, and I’m not sure if you want that.
idk and idc
