Well, there are herbal fat burners, and then there are pharmaceutical diet pills.
Diet pills are physically and emotionally addictive, which leads to overdode and death in some cases. They are not required by law to be tested by the FDA so that’s scary. They cause a lot of anxiety and irritability.
Chemist commercial style ‘herbal fat burners’ are pretty much useless.
Herbal fat burners are not as dangerous because they don’t contain any scheduled herbs (ones that are known to cause side effects). As far as I know it’s illegal to put ephedra in these anymore, which can be really dangerous. You may be able to get prescription ones that contain it though, which would be risky. Ones that contain laxatives and diuretics can be really dangerous in high doses, like senna or buckthorn. People can easily become very dehydrated.
The safest option is genuine herbs that aid the body in eliminating fat, along with a good diet and exercise. Green tea, bitter orange, cayenne pepper, dandelion and other detox type herbs.
