Question by scifigurli: Can taking sleeping pills and caffeine pills be safe for daily use?
Lately I’ve been taking sleeping pills to relax at night (1-2, not overdosing…) and in the morning I take 1 vivarine to wake up and stay positive.

Is this bad?

It is not good. You’re relying on a substance to provide something that you, yourself, could create just by internally focusing your mind. This will build a dependence (even if it never becomes a physiological addiction).

If you simply learned how to use your brain to control your bodily functions, going to sleep would be as easy as saying, “Okay, I’m going to sleep now.”
Your mind is the ultimate tool. Use it, not drugs.

I would suggest to try Melatonin supplements as sleeping aid. This is a natural hormone produced by the body that control the sleep and wake up cycles. Some people do not have enough of it in the body and supplements help. Relaying on sleeping pills eventually will not help much as the body will tolerate it and you will need higher dose. Drink coffee in the morning instead taking Vivarine or use Guarana which is natural supplement that has same effect like caffeine. Actually it is used for thousand of years by many people as coffee substitute.
