If it was prescribed by a doctor for a medical condition, then maybe… but generally, 14 year olds should stay as far away from diet pills as they can. Since the pills don’t teach how to eat properly and exercise, they have more side effects than they are worth and the weight typically comes back soon after they are stopped.
If you want to take diet pills, please PLEASE talk to a nutritionist or dietitian to see what minor changes you could make that would prevent the need for any pills. Good luck and I hope I helped!
Well they can – but they probably shouldn’t. Unless they get a prescription of course, but that would only be allowed as it would be special circumstances. I don’t think as a general rule it’s a very good idea.
