Question by : Is whole grain bread pretty good if you are dieting?
I have whole grain bread that is 100 calories a slice, and I have heard that it is a good choice for dieting. I like it plain and toasted. Is that a pretty healthy snack option? I also eat fruits and veggies, but I was just wondering.

i would say so as long as you are having no more then 4 slices a day. too much of anything can be a bad thing.

Yep. Just make sure you know your bread. Example: Subways 9 grain bread is 98% white bread with high fructose corn syrup and carmel coloring to make it brown. The other 8 grains only make up less than 2% of the bread. Read the ingredients. They are listed in order of greatest to least.
