Question by Disa Trix: Is it, from a legal standpoint, illegal to use or purchase ephedra/ephedrine for personal use?
I know ephedra/ephedrine is illegal to sell as a diet supplement, but still many stores, both on and off shore sell it as such. Would it be illegal for me to buy it, for personal use only, or to use it?

The sale of ephedra-containing dietary supplements remains illegal in the United States due to evidence of adverse ephedra-related effects.
With all the possible bad side effects, sudden cardiac arrest being the most dangerous, why would you want to do something that stupid?
