Work in your house, doing something you dont like, like washing the dishes, sweep the floor, mop, dust, wash, get tired, then get a glass of warm milk and banana and take it with a calcium and magnesium vitamin/mineral to relax you…

Ask your doctor about sleeping pills . . . . You should just relax before going to bed. Don’t watch tv, don’t use any electronics. Just eat something warm with a glass of milk. You should also read or something. Do whatever you can to relax, and don’t move around a lot.

I have the exact same problem. I’m also 15 and I never sleep very good. I wake up at 7:20 and go to bed between 11:00-1:00. For some reason, I sleep best at 5:00 in the afternoon. I don’t think you should take sleeping pills but my advice (what I tried doing). Is don’t take naps during the day, eat 3 good meals (a full breakfast lunch and dinner), and try to stay active during the day so your tired by night time. If you wake up by 7:00 you should go to bed by at least 11:00 so you get 8 hours of sleep. It’s really hard for me to sleep at night though cause I’m a night person. Hope I helped =P.

Sleeping pills, even over the counter ones, can be addictive. You may find that you can not fall asleep without them.

You could try melatonin. It is a pill, but it’s natural and not addictive.

You could also try chamomile tea. It works for some people.

Before you go to bed, take a warm shower or bath to help you relax. Don’t watch TV or play video games. Spend some time reading or listening to soft music.

Also, get in the habit of going to bed at the same time every night. It will help your body get into a good sleep rhythm.

Besides warm milk, melatonin, 5-HTP and valerian you can find further natural remedies in web searches for “natural sleep aids” and “natural sleep remedies”.
