Question by sherbert: How old do you have to be to buy diet pills in michigan?
I am 17, and I have been eating pretty healthy lately and have been running a lot but have not lost one pound. I need to know how old you have to be to buy them in Michigan because I heard some states let you buy them at 16. Please don’t answer this saying I shouldn’t take diet pills. Thanks!

diet pills in all states say like to be 17 or 18 years old

over the counter probably no age limit, online, the same, Dr. probably no, unless you are severely overweight
most places require you to be the same legal age you would have to be to buy beer and smokes. But be advised that diet pills do come with risks and if you haven’t talk to your doctor about it you should. Some people have died using diet pills or have done great harm to them selves. Exercises is free and doesn’t matter what age you are at.

However, when you end up getting them and take them and they don’t work (which I can guarantee they won’t) please come back on here and answer questions about diet pills and tell people your experience. Diet pills haven’t ever worked for anyone. Keep up the running and change eating “pretty healthy” to just plain “healthy”. Add an apple a day and you’ll lose 2-3 lbs a week just from that.
I am also 17 and live in Michigan..you have to be 18 to buy Diet Pills because most of them say do not adminster to people under 18 on their warning labels, so now(well it has been) it is a Michigan law that you have to be 18.
