Question by Shandi: How much weight loss would cause me to have saggy skin?
I want to lose about 50 pounds and I am worried about having saggy skin after losing the weight. I’ve already lost 10 pounds in two weeks. I want to lose about 40 more pounds. That said, how much weight loss would cause me to have sagging skin? Is there anything I can do to avoid having saggy skin after I lose this weight?

Don’t just lose weight, also define your muscles (pilates helps for that and it doesn’t make you look bulky). I think you would have to lose a lot of weight at one time for your skin to get saggy.

Your skin is very elastic n the more water you drink the les s likely you are to sag I lost 100 pounds in 4 months n I have no sag. I drink 2 gallons a day.

The best thing you can do is talk to your dr. ! I can tell you this from personal experience if you loose weight to fast you can get sagging skin! The best thing you can do is talk to your family dr and find out where to start! Healthy eating, exercise, and go by height, weight and bone structure(big or little or medium build ) hope this helped good luck!
