Question by tryst_4_you: how do you make homemade sleeping pills or sleeping aids?
Best answer:
Answer by kgnickl
I would assume it would be risky and more expensive than just buying over the counter pills. However, I would never take sleeping pills unless a doctor specifically prescribes them. They will mess up a person’s sleep cycle and can cause depency on them to (and other pills to wake up). If you are having problems getting to sleep you may want to see a doctor.

just drink some calming tea you wont get hooke on it and it wondt ruinyour sleep cycle
Get yourself a rubber hammer, and hit yourself on the head.
The key is relaxation. If you can meditate to quiet your mind, or find nice soothing clasical music, or one of the sounds of the sea type cds, they are wonderful. Then there’s also lavender essential oil that smells nice and is very relaxing (put some behind your ears, or on your temples or chest or wrists. Then there’s also relaxing teas like Velarian that are good. But also just trying to keep the same sleep schedule if at all possible is good too. Good luck.

Something like chamomile is easy: just make tea with it from bulk herbs.
Valarian root takes a little more effort. Master Herbalists are trained how to extract tinctures from these natural sources and the fresher the better.
