Question by reff: For those of you taking prescription sleep aids?
Okay I have two big problems with my insomnia. It’s falling asleep, and staying asleep. The doc gave me some Rozerem samples and it didn’t help me that much. Which sleeping pills have helped you the most? I’ve been considering Ambien CR, but does it help you fall asleep quickly, along with helping you stay asleep? And does Lunesta have the same Short Term Amnesia side affects as Ambien?

ambien has been like a miracle to me, i have never slept better, i have the same problem as you do, falling asleep/staying asleep, and its great and the good thing about it is it gets your body used to sleeping so you wont need it every night

All of those work differently on different people… Ambian worked well for awhile, but as you said, short term memory was a problem, at least for me. Now have 1/2 tab darvocet, 1/2 tab methocarbomol, and 2 mgs of lorazapam… Works just fine. And the memory thing is gone.
