Question by JennyLove: Does weightloss from breastfeeding slow down after a while ?
I eat everything in sight because I’m so hungry all the time! I ESP crave milk and sugar foods. I haven’t gained any fat and have lost some for sure. But is this going to change? Will I need to eat less soon?

it does slow down a little but while u r breastfeeding your body uses more calories so u will be able to eat more without it being a problem!
My baby is 4 months and i am doing the same thing! the only thing i worry about is when i stop i have gotten in to bad habits with eating sweets and chips etc and i might not be able to stop!
UGH…it has defniitely slowed down for me….I lost 60 lbs within 3-4 months, and now at 6 months cant seem to lose anymore of it and I am still breastfeeding. I now have to watch my calorie intake ( i HATE counting calories) and start to work out…booooooooooo
The initial results you see are mostly just bf helping uterus go back down to size.
You are burning an average of 500 calories a day though, so this also factors in. That is also why you are so hungry! (Also, bf releases hormone that can cause cravings much like pregnancy cravings)
In the first few months you will lose the “baby weight” (meaning everything but any fat put on… uterus, amniotic fluid, placenta, actual baby, etc.) then you might see weight loss even out. Or you might not! Everyone responds differently. Also once baby gets older (1 year-ish)you might see another difference in weight loss, because milk adjusts to babies needs and now has more fat and calories.
