Question by Kristen V: does ephedrine stop the effect of birth control?
I was thinking about getting Lipodrene to help me lose some weight because i’ve read great reviews.I know things like antibiotics stop the effectiveness of the birth control pill, but I was wondering if ephedrine has any effect like that because I don’t want to get pregnant!
I know everyone is trying to be helpful, but I’ve heard the diet and exercise preach, that’s not what i’m asking. I am asking if ephedrine effects the birth control pill or not

The key for losing weight is not difficult – consume less food and move more – the issues arise when we actually try to put that into practice! There are a lot of stumbling blocks in the real world aren’t there?! I take it that you realise that any drug name that ends with ‘drine’ is based on amphetamines? (speed). Such as methadrine, benzadrine, dexadrine, etc. It’s not going to do you any good

No, it doesn’t. Since Primatene tablets contain ephedrine, I went to http://www.primatenetablets.com/products/label_tablets.asp and read the label. No warnings about birth control pills. Oh, and you might want to make sure the Lipodrene you’re buying actually contains ephedrine. If it says “ephedra extract” or “ephedra alkaloids”, then it doesn’t contain ephedrine.
