Question by Rebecca: Does Apidexin interfere with Orthotricyclen?
Does anybody know about the fat loss supplement Apidexin? I am trying to find out if it will interfere with my birth control pill, Orthotricyclen. My gyno doesn’t know what I’m talking about. I have tried looking this up on the internet, but I can’t find anything, even if I look up individual ingredients in Apidexin. Help?

Ask your pharmacist. Go in and take the Apidexin with you and let him/her look at the ingredients. Your pharmacist is the BEST resource for drug information, interactions, contra-indications, etc. there is.

Your doctor is not a drug expert. Your pharmacist is.

I know these medications interfere with it, don’t know about diet supplements

– Rifampin (used to treat tuberculosis)
– Phenobarbitol (sedative and anti-siezure medicine)
– Phenytoin, Dilantin (anti-seizure medication)
– Carbamazepine, Tegretol (anti-seizure medication)
– Griseofulvin (potent anti-fungal)
